I have been behind schedule and stuff is piling up and if the site is down for a couple of days it's because I'm backing it up and moving it to a new server.  Don't forget to check my new store @ https://www.allinternetneeds.com/Home.html for any domain/hosting/e-mail etc

In the meantime, this cartoon, by one of my favorite political cartoonists, answers a question that has come up to me on a couple of occasions, perfectly.  Sorry it's skewed on the page but since I have the most intelligent readership on theInternet, with not only book-larnin' but common sense, You'll figure out how to scroll it or click it to go to it's page.

Many of my readers are not old enough to remember the threat that Communism really was under the Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics and how they treated people and what they did, but this picture looks like something that came out of the late 60's - early 70's.

What was this 82 year old woman's crime?   Speaking out against the governmen's attempts to squelch free speech.  Dissident, 82, Detained at Moscow Rally

How long before the Obamunists shut me down?

Greetings, Dearly Beloved Readers,

On Facebook this morning I read Accidental Thinker's entry that said she was tired of all the political fighting on Facebook and she just wanted peace (I paraphrase).  A comment under it blamed the "radio pundits" for everything.  This was just the type of remark to get me going, but I refrained from replying on FB because it would be exactly the opposite of what was being requested.  But it got me thinking and I will say what I want, here.

The exact remark at which I took umbrage was,

Okay, I know, I am not a fan of using video from youtube for blogging, but I saw this on Drudge and realized again what a great man we had.  He made this recording as a private citizen.

Pretty much sums it all up.

Got this in an e-mail from SSG King and I think everyone should see it.  It is a little over 7 minutes long, but it does show the attitude of our elected officials when someone dissents from what they say.  The Obamabots are pretty tough with old people and people that cannot defend themselves.  If you really believe this bill is the best thing then you probably should read it. This guy http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2009/07/whats-in-healthacre-bill.html has read it and gives good starting places and lists many, many of the things that are making people afraid.

I know people like this man in this video, people with children of all ages and varying abilities.  If the congressman had just let the man talk it would never make the news, but he is unnerved by real people asking real questions.  These elitests, Pelosi, Ried, et. al., cannot believe that we would dissent from their point-of-view.  Anyway, here is the clip, 7 minutes and 12 seconds.

The 1017 page document is here http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=111_cong_bills&docid=f:h3200ih.pdf

I'm sorry I haven't updated sooner, but I have been busy with real life plus the AC inverter for the power source of my elderly and decrepit laptop hasn't been working so I haven't been able to use my free time so effectively as before.

There has been a lot of stuff going on this week that just proves more and more that the current occupant of the White House, President* B. Hussein Obama, is not only a communist nut-job, but he has never even tried to deny the allegation.  Of course he has never tried to prove he is a natural born citizen, either.  None of the leaders of his party have tried.

Now there was this little piece by one of the Heritage Foundation bloggers, Conn Carroll, http://blog.heritage.org/2009/04/20/obamas-spending-vs-obamas-spending-cuts-in-pictures/ about the proposed $100,000,000 budget cuts.  Sounds great, doesn't it?  A lot of money to anyone who would have to work or produce something to have that much, but if you click on the link you will see a graphic showing exactly how meaningless this was a;ong with an interesting quote from Harvard University economics professor Greg Mankiw which says,

"To put those numbers in perspective, imagine that the head of a household with annual spending of $100,000 called everyone in the family together to deal with a $34,000 budget shortfall. How much would he or she announce that spending had to be cut? By $3 over the course of the year-approximately the cost of one latte at Starbucks. The other $33,997? We can put that on the family credit card and worry about it next year."

Any halfway decent supply guy could tell you it would be cake to cut spending like that.  When I was a supply guy at big name insurance company the first year I was there I cut the office supply budget by 15% and any supply sergeant, warehouse supervisor or lead supply clerk could do the same.

Anyway, Thanks for stopping by, I am working on an entry but I have to read a couple of documents first and will share my findings with you within the next couple of days.
