I haven't written in here for a while.  I have been working on my major project and not really working on a lot else.  Then, this morning, as I was coming in, I got a major burr under my saddle.  I have the misfortune that our local conservative talker, for whatever unknown reason, uses ABC news for their top of the hour report.  I'm listening to the news and hear about

Dick Cheney's remarks, which by the way, were, as usual, right on the money (Thank GOD for a voice like this).  Anyway, I am listening to this twerp on the news and he has the audacity to say, "It is very unusual for a previous Vice President to be so critical of a current administration."  Really.  That's what he said, as if he had just dropped in from Pluto and missed the last eight years.  What does this numbskull think Carter (the second worst president ever) and Clinton (who brought immorality and decadence in high office to new heights), did repeatedly for the entire Bush administration?  This was just incredible.

Until Clinton, Carter, and Gore (Al et.), et al., began it, it was true.  No former president ever spoke out about what the current administration was doing.  They knew what the job entailed and whether they agreed or not, they said nothing.  Now when the shoe is on the other foot, it's crying time again.  Of course what do you expect from a "news" company that is in bed with the administration.  Oh yeah they are.  They are the ones that have a more or less permanent place in the White House, but they will still be unbiased?  Honey I was born at night, but it wasn't last night.  This clown pushed my buttons, can you tell?

President* B. Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetero, aka Obeyme (saw this term in FirstSkirt's comment somewhere and like it a lot.  It really tells who the man is.) Has been dragging his feet in deciding about Afghanistan while our soldiers die, waiting to figure out what the polls say will be the popular decision.  Why doesn't he care what the people think about his socialist plans?  Socialism is a great evil and you can write all the glowing papers about how wonderful it is and how it's different from Communism and send them to me, you will never convince me of the good in either one or that there is more than lip-service difference between them.

Why is not the charming and graceful Michelle, who said she was going to work with troops and their families not out here stumping for this worthy cause? The link is to a story about how the troops in the most recent attack, in which 8 Ft Carson Troops were killed.  (Michelle Malkin does them honor) The soldiers at Command Outpost Keating lost every personal belonging they had.  Everything.  The American Legion has raised $50,000 and Target Stores have matched (this article says $30,000 but the news this morning said $50,000) it and there was also a computer company that donated 56 laptops, but I couldn't find the details offhand.

There is more I have to say, but the facts speak for themselves, and if you come here and you are an Obamabot, well, I hope you enjoyed the grape koolaid.  I have a lot more to say, but want to get this posted while it is still hot in my heart.  I haven't even read it back over to make sure it makes grammatical sense.
